Radish Media Study using MARSfarm Mini

Westlake Ag Department has 6 MARSfarm Minis. We acquired these units through grants a couple of years ago. We have done a few studies in that time. Currently my Agriscience I students are studying the use of different media types for growing radishes in the Minis. We have used greens grade in the past but are curious if other media types would be just as effective. We will use greens grade as our control and compare growth and development of radishes using perlite and vermiculite. The variety of radish used is Cherry Belle.
